The Canary Press is a short story magazine based in Melbourne, Australia. We feature new and local writers alongside some of the finest short story writers from Australia and overseas.

Our issues are an eclectic but carefully curated collection of stories. Some are written by international luminaries, others are about a unicorn working as a surgeon. Who you are doesn't matter to us so much as what you can do with a story.
